HOFNER
MODEL 500/7 BASS GUITAR Based
on the Hofner Model 4574 six string semi, and featuring a double-cutaway
body with a 1.25" depth. The Verithin Bass, as it was called in the UK
Selmer catalogues, was initially produced from 1963, with the bass then
being distributed to the European and US markets from 1966. Production
ended in 1971.
