4574 from mid 1980's Acquired 1987 in Wuerzburg in factory new condition. With a laminated spruce top, flamed maple sides and back, cherry red, with triple binding, "Hofner perfect" tuners, lyre tailpiece with no engraving, ebony bridge with fret string support. PUP selector swith on the upper bout, 2 SchallerPAF style HB pickups. Pickup frames have been replaced with metal ones, pick ups fitted with cover and nickel rings. This guitar is also very unusual in that it has a sustain block running under the top from the end of the neck. Owned by Klaus Germany |
