1962 Verithins

An interesting guitar that has the characteristics of a 1962 model, but has a body date of 1961. Unfortunately the Hofner label has been torn and the serial number is missing. The tuners are not original.

A nice example fittd with a Lyre tailpiece, the guitar has some interesting provenance, having once been played in the Cavern, Liverpool.

This one has been through a lot in it's lifetime.
Now has the electrics removed and only played as an accoustic

Good bits: It works Original pick-ups
Not-so-good Paint work cracked in places The body needs fixing as the glue appears to have dried up on one side and the body has started to come slightly apart on one edge and the woodwork is rough. Not original machine heads The mother of pearl around the head of the guitar has missing bits.
